PondDepot - Return Policy

Outlined herein are the PondDepot Terms of Service pertaining to orders, returns, and shipment policies. These guidelines are strictly adhered to so as to ensure reliable order fullfillment and customer/vendor protection against fraudulent and/or inscrupulous activity.

RETURNED OR REFUSED GOODS

First, customer must notify PondDepot of the supposed defective product(s) and must be given a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA number). To request a RGA number please call 1-866-831-6558.

PondDepot will accept APPROVED returned goods at it's warehouse centers minus a 15% restocking fee within a 30 day period from the date of delivery to the customer. This does not apply to special orders.

PondDepot accepts no returns because the customer did not accept delivery of the product because of delivery dates not met as per the customer, or just refusal to accept the product, since we have no control over the freight or delivery companies. A customer must give the freight company's amply opportunity to deliver their order, and in some situations this may mean up to 14 -21 days after the original order was placed with PondDepot. PondDepot does not accept or assume any responsibility for the freight company's delivery schedules or policies . Any refusal of the product(s) by the customers because of this type of delivery situation will result in a 15% restocking charge plus the cost of the freight both to and from the shipping location.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

PondDepot return policy is to provide a replacement product to the customer of equal value shipped freight free to our customer for damaged products. PondDepot must first receive back the original product in proper packaging.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

PondDepot will not be responsible for any claims for labor to either install or remove original or replacement products; or for any type of claims regarding supposed pond life death or health issues since PondDepot has no control over the installation, handling, care, or environment of the pond areas. All warrantees are the warrantees as given by the manufacturers.

FREIGHT DAMAGES POLICY

Upon receiving products it is the customer's responsibility to inspect product for damage prior to signing the delivery receipt or bill of lading. Once the customer accepts the product, PondDepot is no longer responsible for damages that may have occurred in transit. It is in the customer's best interest that if any visible signs of damage appear from inappropriate handling to make note of such on the bill of lading. This gives the customer the right to file a claim with the freight company if indeed such damage is discovered after the driver leaves the site. After 10 days the freight company's will no longer acknowledge concealed damage claims (for your protection open liner package and inspect it a soon as possible). If a freight damage claim is made, the product has to be made available to the freight company for inspection and possible pickup. In the event that the customer refuses the shipment due to damages PondDepot will gladly reship new product. PondDepot will provide the return ship to address to the freight lines.

GENERAL ORDER POLICY

PondDepot accepts no responsibility, or liability that a customer's amount or type of items ordered will meet a specific "job" or "pond to build" requirements. Any technical and installation advice PondDepot offers to it's customers is not to be interpreted as an "absolute" order for all the items that may be necessary for the customer to complete the pond or water garden. PondDepot has published on its website information on pond and water garden products. It is the customer's sole responsibility to become educated to whatever degree is necessary, before they order the products from PondDepot, so the order will be as correct and complete as possible.

ORDER CLAIMED INCOMPLETE

PondDepot will not be responsible for orders declared by customer to be incomplete after 7 days of the customer' s delivery date. Any order that is incomplete according to the customer must be CALLED in to PondDepot to get a proper TRANSACTION ID# within 7 days of the Customer's delivery date, otherwise PondDepot will not recognize any type of claim or refund to the customer.
